Render ("we", "us") provides a staff management dashboard and Discord bot for ER:LC roleplay communities. This policy explains what we collect and how it's used.
Information we collect
- Discord data: your Discord user ID, username, and the servers you share with the bot, obtained via Discord OAuth.
- Roblox data: your Roblox user ID and username, obtained via official Roblox OAuth when you choose to link your account.
- Staff activity: shift clock-in/clock-out times, breaks, and moderation logs (warnings, kicks, bans, notes) entered by staff in a server you're part of.
- Server configuration: settings a server manager configures, such as channel IDs, role IDs, and an ER:LC server key.
How we use it
- To operate the dashboard: showing your shifts, staff roster, tickets, and punishment history.
- To apply verification roles/nicknames you or a server manager configure.
- To relay commands to the ER:LC API using a server's own server key.
What we don't do
We don't sell your data, and we don't use it for advertising. Data tied to a Discord server is visible to that server's staff and managers as part of normal moderation tooling.
Data retention
Data is retained for as long as your server stays linked to Render. A server manager can unlink a server at any time (/unlink), which removes its stored configuration. You can ask a manager to remove your individual staff record from the Staff page.
Third parties
We rely on Discord, Roblox, and Supabase (our database host) to operate Render. Each has its own privacy policy governing the data they process on our behalf.
